“Firstly I understand that it all starts with the metabolism, using food and
training as tools to creating the right metabolic environment for success.
Secondly, the before photos and having the measurements done were constant
reminders of what, and more importantly why, I was doing what I was doing.
Yes there have been a few big adjustments, but it is so easy now, it’s just
part of my life”
I have a clear end goal in mind and if I wanted to I could go out
there and smash it. Then I think, why should I? Right now things are easy,
my metabolism is working for me and not against me and in time, I know, I
will reach my goal by just continuing on with my new lifestyle.
12 months ago a typical training week would have yoga, pump, weights,
boxing, spin, a run or two and on top of that I would have to find some time
to play with the kids. This would be anywhere upwards of 6+ hours training
per week and if I missed a session I would feel guilty because more is
better, right? How things have changed, 2-ICE sessions (30 mins Intense
Cardio Exercise) and 2 FIRE sessions (30mins Focused Intense Resistance
Exercise) would be the ideal training week for me. But to be fair, with all
my other commitments I would be lucky to do 2-3 sessions in. BUT, that
doesn’t matter anymore, like I said earlier, my metabolism is working for me
and now I train because I want to , for fun, not because I have to.
There is just one other really important reason why this works and it's down
to you & Alex! Without your help, support and encouragement none of the
above would happen. You guys have believed in me and supported me and for
that I will always be thankful! You guys are the glue that holds it all
together. You make it work for so many of us and you're both great blokes.
You guys are a formidable team!
I'm really proud to know you and be a part of what you do! I'd really like
to be able to convey that to others.
